One must be carful of Tourist rip off places around here but if one is then this is a great area to start with. with many night clubs as well as bars and pubs, the gothic area but the quality may be great but the quality has a lot to be disired but there are a few exceptions. L'Eixample is the neighbourhood to the north of the city which has plenty of good bars and some good clubs also.here, Big gay scene in thsi area.
Port Vell / Maremagnum
This waterfront shopping center is Barcelona's biggest shopping mall and is full of shops and clubs. By day it's a shoppers paradice but by night all the clubs and bars open up and take over the area

Port Olímpic
Much the same set up as MareMagnum , clubs and bars along the Olympic yachting marina.

Live music: International big name acts can be heard at the Palau Sant Jordi, as well as the
Estadi Olímpic and Camp Nou.
